Lately...

So I haven't posted anything in a couple of days. Last Thursday I went to work as a substitute nurse. It wasn't bad. Peyton stayed with my mom. I didn't have access to the computer so it was kinda boring. I'm glad I took my book. I've been reading A Lineage of Grace, by Francine Rivers. It's been good. It's about 5 women in the bible Tamar, Rehab, Ruth, Bathsheba, and Mary. God has really taught me somethings through it. It's fictional stories mixed with biblical history. It's very good.
So if you all would like to you can pray for me. Pray that I stay motivated to run. I hate running, but it is so good for me. It makes me feel good. I just have a hard time getting myself motivated to do it on my own. I need to learn to be self-sufficient when it comes to exercise. I have a hard time wanting to do anything on my own, Jordan will testify to that. I just need help! Anyway enough about that.
Peyton is sitting up even longer. She's doing the face to toes sit up. She seems like she is regressing a little, she rolls from her back to her stomach. But when she gets on her stomach she has a hard time going back to her back. I think partially it is she wants to be able to see so she doesn't want to roll back on her back.
Well not much is new here other than that! I had a good birthday! I bought myself some new running tennis shoes with my b-day money. I also got a new jogger stroller! Yea, running! It's so nice.

The first picture is Peyton in her Easter outfit. The second one we are at the beach in Hawaii. The third one is Isaac and Peyton. She looks so bald compared to him! The last one she is sitting in her bumbo seat.

So Peyton is starting to sit up for a few seconds before falling over. I'm so excited for her to be able to sit and play instead of having to lay on her stomach. She has been fighting going to bed at night. I try and lay her down around 9:15ish and she cries about 30-45 min. The first night she cried an hour. Ugh. My blood pressure goes through the roof. Before her whole teething experience she went to bed with no problem. I don't know what happened. Oh well. I go to work tomorrow as a substitute nurse. I'm excited to be able to go back a couple days a month. God is so good to give me this flexible job. Jordan and his buddies are leaving for Moab, Utah next week for a 5 day adventure with motorized vehicles. I wish I was going but, I have a baby that still needs me:) I think we are going to leave her here with family for our 5 year anniversary. I think we are going to take a trip to Kansas City. Jordan said we could go to the Melting Pot. SO yummy! Well, I should get something done today:) SAMS here I come!

So my life is wonderful. I love being a mom so much. Peyton is such a fun baby. She makes me laugh. She is almost 5 months old! I can't believe how fast it has gone! I am currently training to do a 1/2 marathon. Yikes, I know! If I can do it anyone can, that's all I have to say! God is so good to me. I just want everyone to know that my life would be in ruins if it wasn't for Him. He has blessed me with the most wonderful loving husband and baby, an awesome family (yes that includes my in laws:)) and fantabulous friends! I love you all so much. I have come to the realization that I need to focus on the things He has given me and not think about the things I don't have. I continually have to remind myself of that. Anyways, enough blubbering.
